Toyota corona Premio was a very popular compact sedan in the US same with TOYOTA SPACIO. Even though its production was stopped in 2001; it is still one of the most popular japanese vehicles in the second hand car market. What could be the secret behind its popularity? Is there any benefit in buying a used Toyota Corona Premio?
Toyota corona Premio is a sedan with four doors. It belongs to the compact size car segment and has ample boot space. It has a length of 4600 mm and a wheel base of 2580 mm. It has a seating capacity of 5 persons including the driver. Toyota Corona Premio was launched in 1997 as a substitute to Corona, Toyota’s most popular car in the US. The Corona Premia has been based on the same platform as the Corona. Some changes were made in the overall design to give the car a sleek and sophisticated look.
The main attribute of Toyota Corona Premio had been its reliability, as it was from Toyota which had proved their quality with the Corona and that it was considered as the most coveted predecessor of Corona. So it was expected to be a better car than Corona. Though it could not outrun Corona in its popularity, which has no equals, Corona Premia was able to find a place of its own.
Toyota Corona Premio is considered a family car. Its compact design enabled easy handling in the busy city traffic and easy parking at the available space. The reliability of the Toyota brand, the dependability of the car, its durability and solid build along with its affordability made it a hot favorite.
The sedan came powered with a 1762cc engine with DOHC (Double overhead Cam Shaft), an S4 cylinder with 4 shafts per cylinder. The engine ranged from 1.5 liter to 2.0 liter. Hence it is used for executive cab services also.
Since it is a very popular car, in great demand in the used car market, the Toyota Corona Premio has a very good resale value. Maintenance is also not expensive as compared with other cars in the same segment. It is not difficult to get the spare parts since its successor model was based on the same platform as this car. All these factors increased its popularity and it is considered the best car to buy if you are planning to buy a used car.
Toyota Corona Premio was launched as a substitute to Toyota Corona. Corona was launched in the US in 1957 when Toyota, its Japanese manufacturers, started exporting it. From then on it has been a favorite car among the Americans and it had undergone many changes in its design and engine over the years. With advances in technology, the engine has been improved. The Toyota Corona Premio is a refined version of this most favored car and is also a favorite in the second hand car market.

The Nissan Vanette Truck is a two door drop side truck fitted with a 1800cc displacement DOHC gasoline engine. It is available in both2 wheel and four wheel drive configuration. The two wheel drive uses both the automatic and manual transmissio0n option while the 4WD is available only in the automatic gear transmission type. Steering position for the driver is on the right side of the vehicle. The vehicle was designed primarily for cargo hauling duties
The front tires are size l65R14 type while the rear is fitted with size 145R12 tires. The truck has a width of 1.63 meters, length of 3.99 meters, and height of 1.89m meters
This vehicle uses the DOHC or Overhead Camshaft valve train layout in its engine design. It is characterized by two camshafts placed within the cylinder head, one each for the intake and the exhaust valves. This results in a better engine performance. Because of the absence of intrusive pushrods, the overhead camshaft cylinder head can have straighter ports for a more advantageous cross section and length.
The forward passenger section can comfortably accommodate 3 passengers although Japanese laws limit the number of allowed passengers to two. The Truck is designed to haul a maximum the carry weight of 850 kg of cargo.
The Vignette truck is produced by Japanese automaker Nissan. The passenger version more popularly called the Vignette is equipped with multiple drive train and engine configuration. The engine choices include the LD20, LD20s, CA20s, CA18T, A25 AND 115s in Japan. Two-wheel and four-wheel models were manufactured with manual and automatic transmission. Buyers also had a choice between column and floor mounted shift sticks.
Nissan Vanette trucks are decent trucks to use. It is reasonably priced, relatively reliable and hauls a lot of weight. A solid reliable van with reasonable comfort and good sized cargo area. The truck has good fuel economy at around 33-34 miles per gallon and burns virtually no oil.
Consumer surveys reveal that the 2.3 liter diesel engine produces a lot of noise particularly on older models. The noise becomes more noticeable at speeds of more than 50mph. Poor acceleration is another frequent complaint. The truck is certainly is not fit for the highway and overtaking can become a bit scary. Component parts seem to break one after the other but that could be caused by age as most of the consumer complaints comes from the owners of the earlier japanese used vehicles.
Checking the oil can also be painstaking as the oil dip is located under the seats and not under the hood which could have been more preferable You will have to undo a lot of screws and clips to gain access and after you do have access, you need to position yourself in a very tight position to check the oil. If you do find some leaks, you are in for a lot of cramped work. The good thing is you do not have o do it often as the vanette burns very little oil.
Gearboxes are a little clunky on the Vanette truck but they are virtually indestructible.
You do not buy a truck because of its speed or the car-like ride it provides. You do not buy them for their sophistication also. The Nissan Vanette truck is cheap and honest, and it does everything that you expect it to do. It has an excellent turning radius perfect on tight driving situations. Best of all, it can carry tons of load.
A good workhorse and a veritable donkey truck; a bit sluggish but accomplishes the work that needs to be done. The Vanette Truck truly is a great and exciting way to get a lot of work done.

The 2010 Nissan Cube is an unusual vehicle whose design certainly fits the name it was given. Looking like a caricature that is unmistakably Japanese, this car has a legion of avid followers in the Pacific. A boxy chariot with a unique personality, it even has a shaggy carpet dashboard cover that looks like a toupee. This certainly is a car for somebody with an over-developed sense of humor. If eccentricity is your cup of tea, the Nissan Cube might just be the car for you.
The Nissan Cube is a diminutive and comfortable hatchback, with a character as plain as steamed rice. But that plain personality is what gives the cube its advantage. It can easily adapt to different flavor according to the taste of its master. This vehicle also offers a lot of interior space owing to its boxy shape It rides beautifully, an excellent commuter that can travel long distances with ease, thanks to its moderately powerful engine and CVT or Continuously Variable Automatic Transmission.
The Cube also makes available, a lot of passengers space and comfort. The backseat in particular tilts back and glides. Nissan also added a lot of extras like key less ignition and entry, Bluetooth and a Rockford Fosgate stereo with color audio display. Dealer-installed accessories comprise of twenty color mood lighting, colored trim pieces, exterior body kit and the notorious dashboard top.
Regrettably, Nissan Cube’s love affair with fashion sacrificed some essential features that are expected on hatchbacks. The cargo area is not as spacious and flexible as its competitors and its handling abilities leave a lot to be desired.
The Nissan Cube is a four-door hatchback. It is available in four variants in its 2010 line-up; the Base, S, SL and Krom edition. Each is equipped with front wheel drive and a 1.8 liter four cylinder engine that turns out 122 horsepower and 127 pound-feet torque. The CVT is optional on the S model but comes in with the package on the SL and Krom. Base and S variants have six speed manual transmissions. Stability and traction control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, anti lock brakes and active front head restraints are also standard on all models as well as used japanese vehicles.
Fuel efficiency EPA estimates on the manual transmission variants are at 24mpg city driving and 29 mpg highway driving, averaging 26 mpg for both. The CVT fuel efficiency performance improved to 28 for city, 30 for highway, with an average of 29mpg.
The CVT equipped S Cube gathered speed from zero to 60 mph in 9.7 seconds. It also showed a very good stopping performance in its class, able to come to a complete stop from 60 mph in 124 feet in brake tests. The Cube garnered four out of five stars for frontal protection and 5 stars for side protection on government crash tests. It also received the highest rating with the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety in its frontal-offset, side and roof strength tests.
The cabin design has flowing curves that complements its head-turning exterior. Speaker grills and the 24 color mood lights are good conversation pieces. Throw in the shaggy toupee dash cover and you are back to the 70’s.
The urban jungle is the natural habitat of the Nissan Cure. Thanks to its outstanding CVT that makes good use of the engine’s power when needed, the Cube is a pleasant vehicle for urban duty. On the other hand, the Cubes rectangular shape s produces a lot of wind noise at high speeds.
The Nissan Cube’s peculiar appearance and whimsical styling make it an interesting pick for small hatch-back. In terms of its design it is a perfect icon of man’s celebration of life.

Also, it provides the buyers the option of availing different accessories including entertainment system of DVD and two bespoke CD players. One can also get hi-mount stop lamp as used pickup trucks, navigation system and rear parking camera, to enhance vehicle usage

The newer models have the usual staple – remote keyless entry, power windows, steering, mirrors, and door locks.

The S Tourer is the top rated model in its array. For an increase in the purchase price, its body can be fitted with an optional kit as well as other dealership offerings.

Actually, the new Spacio is the means by which Toyota seeks to capture the field of the MPV in Japan. However, offering would also be made in the European market.

More importantly, its price range is very competitive.

Clearly, while this vehicle is still categorized as a minivan, it offers a lot of functionality, considering that it can be configured to four, five and six, and more recently, seven seating capacity. Really, this model is the embodiment of the word “practical.”
